We are looking for talented Technical Project Managers at the Manager and Senior Manager level to join the Technical Project Management team within a leading global technology transformation consultancy. This role focuses on guiding large-scale corporate clients through complex technology journeys, from initial strategy through to final implementation, helping them adapt and align with the technical changes in their respective markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead cross-functional project teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery aligned with strategic client objectives.
- Translate complex technical changes into business-friendly artefacts, enabling stakeholders to evaluate operational impacts effectively.
- Lead and contribute to business development activities, including proposals, RFPs, bids, and the development of new market propositions.
- Maintain full accountability for project budgets and timelines, ensuring delivery within a consulting environment.
- Drive internal practice growth through campaign development, whitepapers, and contributing to recruitment and mentoring activities.
- Act as a primary link between technical delivery teams and executive leadership, presenting status updates and technical impacts with clarity.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of digital transformation service offers across strategy, design, and delivery.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in project leadership within a management consulting environment, specifically managing multi-disciplinary teams and external vendors.
- Exceptional stakeholder communication skills, with a proven ability to influence at all levels from technical teams to C-suite executives.
- Proven expertise in financial management, including direct responsibility for significant project budgets and reporting.
- Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear business narratives and strategic roadmaps.
- Experience in business development, including a track record of supporting or leading successful RFP responses and client pitches.
- Flexibility to travel for client assignments across the UK as required.
