Manager – Life Sciences Strategy Consulting
Location: London, UK
Our client is a highly regarded international strategy consultancy specialising in the life sciences sector. With an exceptional track record supporting both corporate and private equity clients, they deliver high-impact advisory services spanning commercial due diligence, growth strategy, post-deal value creation, and go-to-market planning. The firm operates with a boutique culture but global reach, enabling consultants to work on complex, senior-level engagements with real client visibility and influence.
Following continued expansion, the firm is seeking to appoint a Manager or Senior Manager to strengthen its leadership capacity. This role will bridge the gap between Partners and junior consultants, ensuring exceptional delivery standards while contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of strategy engagements for corporate and investor clients across life sciences
- Manage small, high-calibre teams on projects such as commercial due diligence, growth and portfolio strategy, pricing and market access, and post-merger integration
- Serve as the main point of contact for senior client stakeholders, delivering clear, actionable recommendations
- Mentor and develop junior consultants to enhance delivery quality and consulting capability
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, pitches, and thought leadership initiatives
Required Experience
- 5–8 years’ total experience with at least 2–3 years in a strategy consulting environment
- Proven track record leading commercial due diligence and growth strategy projects
- Strong exposure to life sciences sectors, which may include pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medtech, diagnostics, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and engage effectively with senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
