Junior Analyst, realistic earnings including basic salary and bonus: £35,000 to £45,000
Analyst, typically after six months: £40,000 to £50,000

Consulting Point is a specialist talent advisory firm focused on the management consulting market.
We have built a proprietary AI and data platform that sits at the heart of our business. It brings together detailed information on consulting firms, markets and talent, helping us identify the right people and approach senior hiring assignments with better intelligence.
We are looking for an Analyst to work directly with the platform and the information that powers it. A large part of the role initially involves reviewing, entering, correcting and structuring market and talent data. You will investigate incomplete or conflicting information, maintain consistent records and make sure the intelligence used across the business is accurate and commercially useful.
The work is detailed and often repetitive, but it has a clear purpose. Getting the information right shapes who we identify, who we approach and the quality of the work we deliver.
Your work will include:
- Reviewing, verifying and structuring company, market and talent information
- Investigating incomplete, inconsistent or outdated records
- Mapping consulting firms, specialist markets and relevant individuals
- Using our proprietary AI and data platform to identify suitable candidates
- Building accurate and targeted candidate populations
- Approaching candidates by telephone and email
- Holding initial conversations about experience, motivation, compensation and suitability
- Supporting the delivery of live recruitment assignments
- Identifying gaps and patterns within large volumes of information
- Helping improve how our AI tools, data platform and working methods operate
As your market knowledge develops, you will take greater responsibility for identifying and approaching candidates, assessing their suitability and building relationships with them throughout the hiring process.
Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, talent research or data led research would be useful, but it is not essential. More important is your ability to work accurately through substantial volumes of information and communicate confidently with prospective candidates.
You should be comfortable with detailed and sometimes repetitive work, willing to question information that does not look right and interested in how AI and better data can improve recruitment.
This is a full time position based in our City of London office five days per week. There is a clear progression route from Junior Analyst to Analyst and Lead Analyst, with increasing responsibility across talent intelligence, candidate engagement and recruitment delivery.
If you want to develop a career in recruitment while working at the centre of a modern, data led approach to the market, we would like to hear from you.
