A rare opportunity to join an exciting, high-growth, strategy and advisory team at an early stage of its expansion in London. A global consultancy with a long-standing reputation across energy, infrastructure and mining is building out its Advisory practice, bringing together a select group of senior hires from leading strategy consultancies and top-tier advisory firms. The focus is on developing a differentiated offering at the intersection of strategy, investment and asset delivery across capital-intensive sectors.
This is not a traditional consulting role. It is a platform position within a growing team, offering the opportunity to shape both client engagements and the future direction of the practice. The team works on complex, high-value projects across the asset lifecycle, including:
- Strategic advisory for growth, market entry and portfolio optimisation
- CAPEX planning and investment decision-making for large-scale assets
- Commercial and technical due diligence across infrastructure and energy transactions
- OPEX optimisation and asset performance improvement
- Development and financing of major infrastructure and energy transition projects
As a Director, you will:
- Lead major client engagements across energy and infrastructure
- Build and develop senior client relationships, including at board and investor level
- Drive business development and revenue growth across key sectors
- Shape the strategic direction and positioning of the practice
- Build and mentor a high-performing team
This role is ideally suited to individuals currently operating at Senior Manager or Director level within a top-tier strategy consultancy or Big Four advisory practice, with a strong track record in energy or infrastructure. Candidates should bring clear experience in asset-led advisory, including exposure to transactions, investment decisions and capital programmes.
The opportunity offers a genuine chance to join early, work alongside a high-quality peer group and play a key role in building a leading advisory platform in a market that continues to see sustained investment and growth.
