Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking talented UX Designers to join their dynamic team and work on high-impact Government Digital Service (GDS) projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a user-centric designer with a strong background in GOV.UK frameworks to shape digital services that truly make a difference.

About the Role

As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in designing and prototyping digital products that meet Government Digital Service (GDS) standards. You will work in Agile teams, collaborating closely with researchers, developers, and stakeholders to create seamless user experiences. Your expertise in prototyping and front-end technologies will be essential in delivering high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design user-centered services that align with GDS guidelines.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs using the GOV.UK Prototype Toolkit.
  • Work closely with user researchers and developers to ensure accessible and inclusive design solutions.
  • Apply HTML and CSS for rapid prototyping and iterative design.
  • Advocate for user needs, ensuring services are simple, intuitive, and effective.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years’ UX Design experience within a GDS framework environment.
  • SC Clearance eligibility (No trips outside of the UK for more than 28 days consecutively within the last 5 years).
  • Hands-on experience with GOV.UK Prototype Toolkit.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS for prototyping.
  • Experience working in Agile multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
