Java Full Stack Engineer – UK
We are looking for experienced Java Full Stack Engineers to join a growing digital transformation team within a leading consultancy. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-impact projects across both public and private sectors, delivering modern digital solutions that make a real difference.
You will be designing and building microservices with Java and Spring Boot, and developing user-facing applications with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS. The work is varied, from backend services and APIs to front-end applications, containerisation, CI/CD, and cloud deployments on AWS or Azure.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience building microservices with Java and Spring Boot
- Frontend development skills with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- Knowledge of version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
- Hands-on with Docker, CI/CD tools, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Experience working in Agile teams
It’s a bonus if you’ve worked with Terraform, MongoDB/Postgres, or have exposure to the GOV.UK Design System.
