The Opportunity

Consulting Point is seeking experienced Management Consultants to join the Digital Operating Model team within a leading global transformation consultancy. This practice serves as a primary advisor to CIOs and CTOs across the FTSE 100 and central UK Government departments. The role focuses on delivering high-value strategic advice and technical innovation, ensuring technology estates are structured to drive maximum business value through modern digital frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and influence the digital operating model choices for major private and public sector organisations in the UK.
  • Advise C-suite and senior leadership on unlocking value from technology investments, specifically embedding AI and Agentic AI into IT operating models.
  • Deliver end-to-end operating model design projects, including AS-IS assessments, options development, detailed design, and evidence-based transition roadmaps.
  • Lead and coach multi-disciplinary teams of practitioners to ensure delivery excellence on client sites.
  • Contribute to Business Development activities, including leading proposals, RFP responses, and the development of new market-facing propositions.
  • Drive internal practice growth through the creation of whitepapers, campaign development, and recruitment activities.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven background in management consulting, with significant experience delivering strategic digital technology advisory engagements.
  • Deep experience navigating complex FTSE 100 environments and large-scale UK Government organisations.
  • Technical expertise in designing product-led or AI-driven operating models across leadership, culture, process, and tooling dimensions.
  • Strong knowledge of digital industry trends, including Agile at Scale, DevSecOps, journey-to-cloud, and low-code/no-code development.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance the delivery and design of digital operating model projects.
  • Capability to build trusting relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and their immediate leadership teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL foundations or higher certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a matrixed global organisation.
  • Experience in proposition building and client-facing business development.
