The practice is seeking consultants at the Senior and Managing Consultant grades to lead engagements across the public defence ecosystem. These roles focus on the full lifecycle of capability acquisition and requirements management, from initial strategic definition through to integration and governance. You will work directly with capability sponsors and senior stakeholders to shape requirements and understand user journeys across the 'As Is' and 'To Be' states of complex defence assets.
Key areas of impact:
- Leading the delivery of large-scale capability programmes across the public defence sector.
- Establishing and coordinating Capability Integration Working Groups (CIWGs) and developing governance frameworks.
- Managing requirements across the Defence Lines of Development (DLOD) to ensure operational readiness.
- Building robust Requirements frameworks (URD, SRD, ITEAP, RAMS) in alignment with industry-leading standards.
- Engaging with end-users to map requirements to tangible benefits and strategic outcomes.
- Contributing to practice growth through bid leadership and the development of new market offerings for the wider defence account.

- Proven experience within the public defence sector, wider national security consultancies, or major defence suppliers.

- Expertise in requirements management processes, frameworks, and the creation of formal technical artefacts.
- Currently working in a major consulting firm or holding a background in management consulting.
- A proven ability to lead in matrixed organisations and enlist commitment from multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in business development, including proposition building and leveraging professional networks to identify new opportunities.

- Domain knowledge within Digital Defence, Equipment & Support, or Research and Technology organisations.
