The Opportunity

Consulting Point is seeking high-calibre Data Science professionals from Senior Consultant to Senior Manager level to join the specialist AI and Analytics practice of a premier global management consultancy. As organisations move from simply consuming data to requiring autonomous, insight-driven ecosystems, this team acts as the primary architect for 'Agentic AI' transformation.

These roles are designed for 'Consultant-Scientists' who can bridge the gap between complex mathematical modelling and strategic business outcomes for FTSE 100 and major public sector clients.

The Mandate: Leading the Agentic Era

The practice is heavily invested in the transition from traditional Machine Learning to Agentic and Generative AI. Depending on your grade, your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Leadership: Leading the delivery of end-to-end Data Science and Agentic AI programmes, ensuring technical rigour meets commercial objectives.
  • Client Inspiration: Demonstrating the 'Art of the Possible' to C-suite stakeholders through technical prototypes and evidence-led AI strategies.
  • Solution Architecture: Designing and deploying scalable models across the ML lifecycle, focusing on NLP, time-series analysis, and autonomous agent workflows.
  • Commercial Growth (Manager/Senior Manager): Identifying market opportunities, leading complex RFP responses, and developing new market-facing AI propositions.
  • Practice Building: Contributing to internal think-tanks, authoring whitepapers, and driving the recruitment and development of the junior engineering team.

Required Experience & Skills

Consulting Mandate: Recent and substantial experience within an established management consultancy or a dedicated internal transformation function is essential.

Advanced Analytics: A proven track record in statistical modelling, natural language processing (NLP), and mathematical modelling methodologies.

Agentic AI Focus: Demonstrated interest or experience in deploying Agentic frameworks to unlock business value.

Stakeholder Influence: The ability to simplify complex data landscapes into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical leadership.

Technical Expertise

Languages: Proficiency in Python, R, or PySpark.

Platforms: Architectural knowledge of one or more major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Databricks.

Agentic & GenAI Frameworks: Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, OpenAI Agents, Adept AI, or Beam AI.
