An established digital engineering practice is growing its team and looking for Java Full Stack Engineers to join a range of high-impact transformation programmes. The work focuses on building modern, user-centred digital services across large-scale, complex environments, often within regulated or public-sector domains.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll contribute across the full development lifecycle. You’ll be designing and building Java-based microservices using Spring Boot, developing APIs, and working on front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular. Projects are typically cloud-native, with a strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and clean, maintainable code.
You’ll be working in agile, multi-disciplinary teams alongside product managers, designers, and other engineers, with the opportunity to contribute to technical decisions and shape solutions. At more senior levels, there is also an expectation to support junior team members, contribute to best practices, and engage with stakeholders to help drive delivery outcomes.
The environment is heavily focused on modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Experience working on user-centred digital services or within structured delivery environments is beneficial, but not essential.
This opportunity would suit engineers with around three or more years’ experience who are looking to deepen their technical capability while working on meaningful, large-scale projects. For those at a more senior level, there is scope to take on greater ownership, influence technical direction, and support team development.
