ConsultANZ is looking for a Pavement Civil Engineer in New Zealand. The project is a Road Maintenance project in New Zealand. This role is based in New Zealand. The client is open to sponsoring a New Zealand work visa for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in the delivery of pavement and asphalt roading works from start to finish.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including ITPs, QA reports, cost tracking, and daily site records.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of project programs, schedules, and resource planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in road construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of pavement construction methods, asphalt placement, and road surfacing.
- Experience with QA/QC processes, site inspections, and documentation.
- Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
