This is a full-time on-site role based in Cheadle for a Medical Secretary. The Medical Secretary will be responsible for scheduling appointments, managing clinic diaries, performing clerical tasks, and ensuring the smooth running of a medical office. Responsibilities further include handling medical documentation, liaising with patients, managing communications, and providing essential support to consultants in delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Appointment Scheduling and managing clinic diaries
  • Proficiency in Clerical Skills and general administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with medical documentation
  • Experience working in a Medical Office or similar environment
  • Strong Typing skills with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
  • Previous experience in healthcare administration is an advantage
