We’re a professional, patient-focused organisation providing tailored admin support to private consultants and their practices. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Medical Secretary to join our team.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring patients and consultants receive smooth, efficient service—supporting everything from transcription to theatre bookings.
Key Responsibilities- Transcribe medical dictation accurately
- Book operations and coordinate schedule
- Handle incoming calls and patient queries
- Liaise with hospital staff, consultants, anaesthetists, and insurer
- Manage emails and inbox communication
- Invoice and bill for private medical procedure
- Open the office and support day-to-day admin
- 1+ year of secretarial/admin experience (medical background preferred)
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Excellent communication and organisation skills, Excel
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and stay calm under pressure
- A warm, professional, and patient-friendly approach
