We are building a team of consultant solicitors to support small to medium size law firms that have been heavily impacted by the ongoing disruptive effects of the pandemic, the shortage of qualified staff, and the rapid digitalisation of their traditional marketplace. These firms, who pride themselves on providing quality legal services to their established client base, need qualified lawyers to help them provide the legal expertise their clients need.
The role is remote, but you will have admin support from the business, and your PI insurance is covered by the firm. You may not be full-time with one firm, but we will create a portfolio of other clients to meet your needs, and you will act as a true consultant to potentially several firms. There will not be onerous exclusivity terms, nor will there be any demands to have a following or unreasonable targets to develop business. You will agree to a fee-sharing arrangement with each of the firms for whom you provide a service agreement. You will be self-employed, and you can work from anywhere. You can decide your work levels and when you work; you just need to satisfy the expectations of your clients and your firm.
Minimum Requirements:
- An England and Wales registered solicitor.
- More than 5 years PQE.
- No blemishes on your SRA record.
- Demonstrated specialization in a specific discipline.

Those solicitors or Cilex lawyers already acting as consultants and who have the capacity to take on additional clients or are considering a reset are welcome to apply.
