The Role

We’re looking for a Freelance Azure Data Engineer to support both ongoing client operations and new project delivery. You’ll work across multiple client platforms, helping troubleshoot and improve existing systems while also designing and building new data solutions from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
  • Write Python and SQL for ingestion, transformation, and automation workflows
  • Developing scalable and maintainable data models
  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures, performance issues, and data quality problems
  • Translate client requirements into documented technical solutions
  • Work across multiple client environments and adapt quickly to different architectures and ways of working
