YOUR ROLE
We are looking for consultants who have experience in one of the following areas and have applied these skills in the private sector. Having experience and career aspirations in one (or more) of these capabilities is a must:
- Business Analysis
- Product Management
- Delivery Management (Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, Programme Manager, Agile Coach)
As a Digital Product Delivery Consultant/Senior Consultant, you’ll help design and deliver user‑centered digital products and services that solve complex business challenges. Using critical thinking and problem‑solving, you’ll work with major private sector clients to shape strategies, optimise delivery, and ensure products meet real user needs. You’ll join our Digital Excellence community, collaborating with experts in product management, agile delivery, and business analysis. We offer hybrid working from offices in London, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow, with opportunities to travel to client sites.
What You'll Do
- Partner with private sector clients (primarily ET&U, FS, & CPRD) to shape and deliver digital products and services that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Support or lead end‑to‑end product delivery, from discovery and design through development, testing and release—drawing on expertise in Product Management, Agile Delivery or Business Analysis to ensure successful outcomes.
- Translate business objectives and user needs into actionable delivery plans, ensuring alignment with technical constraints and priorities.
- Work within multi‑disciplinary Agile teams, facilitating ceremonies, managing backlogs and promoting user‑centered approaches.
- Apply agile delivery principles to optimise ways of working, improve efficiency, and embed best practices across teams.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing expectations across business and technology functions.
- Contribute to product operating model design and enhancement, helping clients optimise governance, roles and processes for effective delivery.
YOUR PROFILE
- Proven experience in user‑centered product or service development projects.
- Experience working in multi‑disciplinary Agile teams, facilitating end‑to‑end delivery from research and design through to development and testing.
- Strong knowledge of agile delivery principles, practices and techniques.
- Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience in prioritising business requirements and managing product backlogs.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and resolve conflicts.
- Familiarity with technical concepts such as APIs, cloud infrastructure and microservice architecture.
- Experience of project planning, budgeting and execution.
- Proficiency in agile delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, fostering collaborative and self‑managing ways of working.
Bonus Points For
- Experience in Financial Service, Utilities, Consumer Products and Retail.
- Experience in Coaching or Product Operating Model.
- Certifications in Agile Delivery, Product Ownership or Business Analysis (e.g., PSPO, PSM, SAFE etc.).
- Experience and interest in supporting Capgemini with side of desk activities such as recruitment, business development, mentoring and training.
