Would you like to work for an organisation that really makes a difference? Our payroll team is looking for an exceptional payroll administrator. You'll be responsible for the monthly UK payroll which is managed using our in-house software alongside two other payroll administrators making sure that our employees are paid on time. You will be part of a team and play a central role in our organisation so it is important to be a team player - collaboration is key! Part of the role will be making sure queries are answered and there is plenty of variety, no two days are the same.
You’ll have the opportunity to get involved with:
- Year-end returns - ensuring an efficient validation and reconciliation of post payroll output and the running of the costing files and month end reports for the Accounting Team.
- Creating, reviewing new policies and procedures.
- Reconciliation of month end payments to external agencies, such as HMRC and our pension provider.
Hybrid working: our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment.
About You:
- You’ll have gained excellent payroll legislation knowledge from your previous roles.
- You’ll be a strategic and forward-thinker - focusing on finding the solution.
- Always looking at finding ways of making things more efficient.
Please be aware that some of our UK roles at PA Consulting require a UK security clearance. All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard however, some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
