Job Description
We are looking for a Consumer Electronics Engineer with experience in bringing high‑volume consumer products to market. You will develop products from concept through to mass production. This role focuses on consumer product development, but you will also have the opportunity to work within other sectors such as medical, life science and defence.
Key Responsibilities
• Work across the whole development lifecycle for clients, from concept generation to product launch and ongoing improvement.
• Deliver designs into service and mass production.
• Provide written and verbal communication of complex engineering concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Technical Skills
- A proven track record of developing and implementing electronic designs using professional workflow (Altium and Cadence tools).
- Well versed in analogue and digital circuit design and experience using embedded platforms.
- Ability to balance design BOM cost requirements with broader project requirements.
- Experience in the full product lifecycle including delivery of designs in mass production.
- Understanding of regulatory landscape of UK, EU and US, and designing for compliance with appropriate standards.

- Energy and enthusiasm to take on unfamiliar challenges, innovate and think freely.
- Enthusiasm to help build the careers of less experienced engineers.
Qualifications
- Degree qualification – a good degree in electronic engineering or a related subject from a leading university.
- Ability to gain UK SC security clearance if not already acquired.
