Location: Manchester, United Kingdom. The role can also be based at London Victoria.

Working Arrangement: Hybrid working – a minimum of 2 days per week in the office or on client site, up to 5 days per week on a client site depending on the assignment.

Role Level: Consultant or Senior Consultant.

Primary Areas of Focus:

  • Operational and financial productivity

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering tangible improvement in healthcare operational environments, from patient‑facing roles to corporate and commercial roles.
  • Experience in large‑scale cost improvement and productivity projects using project‑management principles.
  • Core experience working in the healthcare sector – essential.
  • A track record of realising business benefits and improved outcomes in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of advanced techniques such as digital technologies, change management, operational risk management and supply‑chain management (advantageous).
  • Leadership skills in large, diverse project teams.
  • Ability to work in partnership with clinical and operational teams to deliver improved performance.
  • Confidence to influence senior stakeholders and navigate challenging discussions.
  • An aptitude for delivering creative and ingenious solutions.
  • Core consulting skills such as presentation, stakeholder management and building rapport quickly.

  • Strong consulting skills, including structured problem‑solving, data‑driven analysis and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working in public or private healthcare sub‑sectors (e.g., NHS Trusts, DHSC, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and team‑working skills, comfortable navigating across finance, care‑model design, governance, capacity and workforce modelling.
