Capgemini Invent is looking for experienced management consultants to join our award‐winning public sector team. Base locations can be London, Manchester or Glasgow with regular client travel as part of our hybrid working pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent service to public sector clients as part of project teams, leading workstreams as appropriate.
- Support business growth through development of your client network and proactive identification of client needs in a sell‐deliver model.
- Support proposal development and bidding activities.
- Build strong Capgemini communities through active contribution to practice development, knowledge management and collaboration with colleagues.
- Contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution and client hosting at events.
- Participate in internal think‐tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities) and offering development.
- Receive training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, including certifications where applicable.
Your Profile
- Proven intellectual strength, educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Experience supporting programmes and projects in the public sector from a major consulting firm, working in a matrixed organisation.
- Evidence of excellent project delivery in the public sector, with experience of agile and waterfall delivery methods.
- Strong analytical mindset and application of relevant frameworks to business pain points, user needs and develop solutions.
- Understanding and practical application of transformation design and delivery aspects, including target operating model design, business analysis, operational excellence, change management, business case development, benefits realization and portfolio, programme and project delivery.
- Outstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, capable of communicating complex problems or solutions.
- High levels of emotional intelligence and evidence of engaging/managing public sector stakeholders. Understanding of public sector cultures and ways of working.
- Commercial awareness, including evidence of scoping and pricing work packages, managing commercial performance of projects or bidding for public sector contracts.
- Formal certifications are beneficial but not essential. Relevant certifications include APM, PROSCI, SCRUM, Better Business Case accreditations, LEAN or equivalent.
