A key part of PA’s accelerated growth is our Premier Consulting Partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). We are looking for an experienced Alliance and relationship manager to join and be instrumental within our AWS alliance team.

Reporting into the Alliance leadership, you will understand the Cloud Landscape (technology and consulting), where AWS differentiates, and the inner workings of AWS Partner organisations. You will drive the alliance team to mirror the AWS culture, work with urgency, and foster trust through subject matter expertise, reliability, accuracy and collaboration.

  • Seeking out and nurturing new business opportunities alongside PA and AWS colleagues.
  • Developing our relationships with AWS, clients, and industry partners to identify areas where we can provide additional value to their growth.
  • Making recommendations to shape and grow our AWS Alliance team.

Essential requirements

You Are Passionate About:

  • Building relationships at all levels inside AWS and PA, through being visible, involved and persuasive to keep PA front of mind and invited to AWS meetings/events as well as client-side engagements.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow the AWS Alliance’s revenue via relationships and matchmaking between AWS and PA teams.
  • Numbers and data: ensuring an accurate pipeline in sync with AWS, and reporting via dashboards with reliable data from multiple sources.
  • Being proactive and organized to ensure PA has continual maximum visibility within AWS, tracking sales meetings and marketing activities and ensuring the right people are involved.
  • Our PA positioning and propositions within AWS and the marketplace, with a constructive critique and improvements.

The success of PA’s relationship with AWS is a key element of our overall growth strategy; your success will be rewarded accordingly.

Your on-target bonus will be equivalent to an illustrative 30% of your base salary and linked to:

  • The revenue associated with new name AWS business (not existing clients) - 40%
  • The number of new opportunities AWS brings to PA - 15%
  • Pipeline growth of new logo AWS business - 15%
  • The number of joint marketing and speaker opportunities we deliver - 15%
  • The efficiency and speed of creating and completing SOWs, PSF requests, etc. - 15%

You have extensive experience in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary digital environment and can demonstrate the ability to deal with large amounts of information and make decisions effectively.

You will have proven experience of building and maintaining successful business relationships, including with large organisations to maximise success.

Commercially savvy with pipeline management and reporting. Demonstrates initiative, collaboration, and a strong ethical approach to work.

You’re a self-starter with an entrepreneurial streak, able to prioritise time and build relationships across PA and AWS.

Willing to engage with key stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on time with the required quality.
