We are looking for consultants with 12‑24 months demonstrable experience in a professional services or consulting organisation, eager to accelerate their consulting capability within a collaborative, fast‑paced, values‑led organisation. Our consultants support projects to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients. They work across a wide variety of sectors and services, playing key roles in supporting client delivery, building relationships, contributing to business development, and strengthening the wider practice and Q5 team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial & Growth: support business development activities through research, proposal development, and proof‑reading; shape proposals and opportunities for potential new business; research clients, sectors, and market trends; understand consulting commercials and business operations; build professional networks internally and externally; identify opportunities to extend project impact.
  • Client Delivery: support the delivery of client projects and workstreams; think critically about client problems and explore solutions; conduct effective and timely analysis, translating qualitative and quantitative insights into compelling narratives; communicate clearly and professionally; create high‑quality presentations, reports, and client materials; support workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement; help manage project plans, logistics, and coordination; work closely with project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Q5 Team Contribution: demonstrate company values consistently; contribute to wider Q5 initiatives, building sectors or services, wellbeing initiatives, foundation work; support onboarding and integration of new joiners; take ownership of personal development via feedback and continuous learning.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • 12‑24 months demonstrable experience in consulting or professional services
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organisation
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good understanding of Office 365, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative and commitment to assigned projects
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn continuously
  • Based in/near London – these are London‑based in‑person positions.

Desirable:

  • Experience using Power BI, Mural, Menti, or similar collaboration and visualisation tools
  • Experience supporting workshops, stakeholder engagement, or project coordination
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and delivery principles
