Your Role

  • Client Engagement and Advisory: Partner with client stakeholders to understand organisational goals, assess workforce challenges, and shape transformation agendas. Provide advisory services on workforce trends, talent management, leadership development, skills strategies, and workplace culture.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition and management solutions, enhance learning and development programmes to address skills gaps and future capabilities, and advise on workforce planning aligned with business strategy and market trends.
  • Lead cultural transformation initiatives, foster inclusive, high‑performing environments and guide organisations through behavioural change.
  • Lead scoping, planning and delivery of workforce transformation projects, ensuring solutions are innovative, data‑driven, aligned with client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups and leadership sessions to co‑create solutions, build consensus and drive stakeholder buy‑in.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, monitor industry trends and innovate offers and capabilities to ensure a forward‑thinking approach.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members as part of our practice.

Preferred experience: depth of experience in one of Talent, Skills, Learning, Workforce Planning or Culture.

Typical activities:

  • Conduct skills gap analyses, map current and future capabilities, and develop career and/or learning pathways aligned with business needs and employee aspirations.
  • Co‑create and implement career pathways, learning strategy and journeys that support internal mobility and talent development.
  • Design and deliver reskilling, learning and culture change programmes.
  • Partner with HR, L&D and business leaders to align workforce initiatives with goals.
  • Integrate skills and learning frameworks into existing HR systems (e.g., LMS, talent management platforms).
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on workforce data and analytics.
  • Support change management and communication plans to embed new frameworks and tools effectively.

Your Profile

  • Work with all levels of the organisation, be knowledgeable on market trends and challenges across HR, Learning, Skills, and bring a point of view to share with colleagues and clients.
  • Growth mindset, desire to work in a client‑facing role and solve complex challenges.
  • Skilled at establishing strong working relationships with clients and teams, helping achieve high standards of quality and widening reach.
  • Preferable to have experience in a major consulting firm or a consulting background; alternatively, depth of experience in workforce transformation with a passion for consulting.
  • Desirable: proven ability to succeed in a matrixed organisation and enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Experience in Agile methodology, Design Thinking and Change Management is desirable.
  • Experience in proposition building and delivery.

Candidate must be security‑cleared or eligible to obtain clearance.

Location Details

When based in London, Manchester or Glasgow, candidates must be fully flexible for assignment location as roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
