The Digital Trust (DT) practice focuses on ensuring secure business outcomes for clients by providing cybersecurity advisory and transformation consulting. We help clients evaluate cyber risks, redesign security operating models, modernise digital identity capabilities, drive security culture change, and transform security and compliance regimes to be efficient, effective, sustainable and resilient.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in projects that transform clients’ cybersecurity and architecture capabilities and reduce business and technology risk.
- Provide expertise in strategic, organisational and human aspects of cybersecurity, including security strategy definition and board‑level influence.
- Lead or contribute to threat modelling, risk management and security overlay approaches through maturity assessments.
- Translate technical domains into business value, delivering quick wins on transformation journeys.
- Stakeholder engagement – influence board and senior stakeholders to secure approval for security initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver security strategy, governance, testing, identity & access management, architecture, privacy and cyber data analytics.
- Contribute to business development – proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches and hosting at events.
- Internal contribution through campaigns, white papers, practice development and training.
- Continued learning – pursue certifications and training to support career development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in one or more cybersecurity domains (e.g., risk management, architecture, asset security, engineering, network security, IAM, education & awareness, assessment & testing, operations, software development security).
- Preferred experience: SOC teams, OT security, security architecture, security operational model transformation and cybersecurity assessments.
- Familiarity with core frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO27001, CIS Critical Controls) and regulations (NIS2, DORA, FCA, Bank of England).
- Understanding of Gen AI future implications for cyber security.
- Relevant qualifications – CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ preferred.
- Background in consulting or industry with a consulting mindset.
- Proven success in a matrixed organisation, influencing peers and clients.
- Experience in proposal building and delivery.
- Cross‑sector experience, especially in core Capgemini sectors (Financial Services, Public Sector, Energy, Consumer, Manufacturing, Telco).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading delivery of cybersecurity projects.
- Security clearance (SC or above) or eligibility.
