We believe in the power of ingenuity to build a positive human future. We challenge where it matters and own the outcome. We combine strategic thinking, customer‑centric service design, and agile engineering practices to accelerate innovation in a tech‑driven world.

As a Delivery Manager, you are a capable and hands‑on practitioner who leads delivery for small to medium‑sized teams or workstreams. You are responsible for ensuring delivery is structured, transparent and outcome‑focused, operating within established delivery approaches while contributing to their continuous improvement and growing your leadership and consulting skills. You will apply agile delivery practices in real contexts, running delivery rhythms, managing risks and dependencies, and supporting teams to deliver effectively. You will increasingly act as a trusted point of contact for clients, helping them understand delivery progress, ways of working and trade‑offs. You’ll operate in increasingly AI‑enabled delivery environments, building your understanding of emerging tools and applying them pragmatically to improve delivery efficiency, reporting and insight generation. You will typically spend around 85% of your time in delivery and 15% supporting capability development and business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the delivery of digital products, services and transformation initiatives within small to medium‑sized teams or defined workstreams.
  • Run core delivery practices including planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives and backlog refinement.
  • Establish and maintain delivery plans, roadmaps and team ways of working.
  • Help clients and teams adopt and effectively use AI in delivery throughout the entire SDLC / PDLC, including reporting through to insight generation.
  • Use delivery metrics (e.g. velocity, burndown, flow) to track progress and provide meaningful updates to stakeholders, using AI where appropriate.
  • Break down strategies or Target Customer Experiences into deliverable work packages, epics and user stories.
  • Act as an Agile coach for the team, supporting consistent application of agile principles and practices.
  • Support client understanding of agile delivery, helping them engage effectively with delivery practices.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and RAID logs, ensuring appropriate visibility and action.
  • Contribute to proposals, Statements of Work and account activities.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, helping build capability within delivery teams.

Who You Are

  • A delivery practitioner with experience working in agile environments on digital projects or products.
  • Comfortable running delivery processes and supporting teams to meet their goals.
  • Developing confidence working directly with clients and managing stakeholder relationships, with support from senior colleagues where appropriate.
  • Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • A strong communicator, able to clearly explain delivery plans, risks and trade‑offs.
  • Curious about emerging tools, including AI in digital delivery, and motivated to build your capability.
  • Motivated to grow as a delivery leader, taking on increasing responsibility as your experience develops.

How You Operate

  • You lead by doing, actively contributing to delivery rather than managing from a distance.
  • You apply agile delivery methods pragmatically, adapting to context rather than following rigid frameworks.
  • You focus on clear, demonstrable progress and outcomes, not just reporting.
  • You analyse problems, identify risks and elevate appropriately.
  • You support the creation of an environment where teams can work effectively, collaboratively and at pace, helping remove blockers and maintain delivery flow.
  • You are comfortable working flexibly across client environments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Typically 3–5 years of experience in digital delivery, project management or agile roles.
  • Experience working within agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and applying them in practice.
  • Experience delivering within small to medium‑sized teams or workstreams.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and other collaboration platforms.
  • Understanding of core delivery practices including planning, estimation, governance and reporting.
  • Awareness of commercial considerations (e.g. scope, cost, delivery constraints).
  • Exposure to proposal or bid work is beneficial.
  • Public sector experience is beneficial but not required.

Why this role may not be the right fit

  • If you prefer purely coordination or reporting roles rather than hands‑on delivery.
  • If you want to operate outside the team rather than as part of it.
  • If you rely on a rigid delivery framework rather than adapting to context.
  • If you’re uncomfortable with client‑facing work or stakeholder engagement.
  • If you’re not interested in growing your delivery capability, including the use of new tools such as AI.
