Our tech stack

While we advocate for using the right tech for the right task, you can expect to work with the following technologies to ensure scalable, high‑performance applications: Data Bricks, Python, PySpark, R, Excel, Palantir Foundry and PowerBI.

What You Can Expect

  • Work to agile best practices and cross‑functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders. You’ll be using your technical skills to problem‑solve with our clients and on internal projects.
  • Live in‑person white‑boarding sessions to problem‑solve as a team, alongside asynchronous communication on Teams.
  • Hybrid working with the team on client site or in our office a minimum of two days per week, with up to five days on a client site.

Qualifications

Essential requirements

  • A degree, Masters or PhD from a leading university in data science, mathematics, operational research, physics or statistics.
  • Experience conducting analysis for evidence‑based decision making, designing and developing models and supporting data‑centric decision making.
  • Experience working with clients to translate business needs into analytical approaches and solutions, and communicating findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience across the full analytics and modelling lifecycle – problem formulation, exploratory data analysis, model design, build, testing and hand‑over.
  • Experience with common tools such as Python, SQL, Excel and data visualisation solutions for modelling and analysis.
  • Experience leading and delivering solutions that involved one or more of the following specialisms: advanced analytics and data science, algorithm design and development, operational research models, data engineering, big data and cloud platforms, data visualisation or dashboard development.
  • A genuine affinity for problem solving – an inquisitive mind who wants to solve the trickiest challenges whilst working with incredible colleagues.

Familiarity in the following will also be advantageous

  • Stakeholder management, project management and communication skills; experience working in or providing consulting and advisory services to stakeholders.
  • Experience in the software or product development lifecycle for analytical solutions, e.g. managing analytical solutions across discovery, development/prototype, rollout, implementation and managed‑service stages.
  • Experience in the business process through client presentations and developing data and behavioural science propositions.

Assessment process

  • Quick call with one of our Tech Recruiters – to discuss your application, the role and PA.
  • Round 1: Either a competency or technical interview (60 minutes).
  • Round 2: Either a competency or technical interview, whichever you didn’t do at first round (60 minutes).
  • Final round: Meeting with a PA leader – a mini case study and discussion around your client‑centricity (60 minutes).
