PA Consulting is recruiting Data Science Apprentices in our Belfast office. You will have opportunities to develop skills and gain hands-on experience in data-driven initiatives, including artificial intelligence (AI), using contemporary coding platforms and modern tooling, while working with our digital talent. We operate across sectors including Government, Health, Financial Services, Consumer, Defence and Transport, helping clients embrace digital and data innovation. You will join a team delivering data-driven solutions to clients' business needs and will be part of a supportive environment that encourages growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with a team of experienced data engineers and data scientists to understand client requirements and develop custom data solutions
- Learn and implement new technologies and data/digital development best practices
- Participate in client meetings to understand requirements and provide data-driven solutions
- Write documentation and conduct training sessions for clients
- Pursue continuous personal development in data analytics skills
Qualifications
- Working towards or having achieved CCC in A-levels or equivalent, ideally in a STEM subject (aligned with Ulster University entry requirements)
- Technical interest in technology showcased through personal projects
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL) and/or programming (Python, R, SQL) is a plus
- Growth-oriented, collaborative, credible and communicative; strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for data
- Professional, reliable, punctual with good workplace etiquette
Education and Apprenticeship Details
You will study part-time for a Computing Science BSc with the University of Ulster alongside your apprenticeship. You must secure a place on this course directly with UU; applications to UU are separate from PA applications.
