We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Strategist to lead and shape the AI vision for our private and public sector clients.

Who You’ll Work With

You will join PA Consulting’s AI practice in our London office, collaborating across the firm to advise clients from AI strategy to industry‑first AI solutions.

Your Impact Within Our Firm

You will work with C‑suite and senior executives to problem‑solve key issues and provide actionable AI recommendations. You will lead teams of 3–10 consultants, managing day‑to‑day project operations while maintaining high‑level objectives, developing hypotheses, formulating recommendations, and presenting results to client leadership. You will also mentor junior consultants, support business development, and maintain a partner‑assigned coach for your career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Development – Collaborate with client stakeholders to assess challenges, identify strategic AI use cases, and define tailored AI roadmaps.
• Use Case Identification – Analyse business processes to uncover impactful AI applications, estimate ROI, and prioritise projects by feasibility and value.
• AI Roadmap Creation – Design comprehensive AI implementation roadmaps outlining milestones, resources, and timelines.
• Performance Measurement – Develop frameworks to track AI initiative outcomes aligned with expected ROI and business value.
• Transformation Oversight – Lead large transformation programmes, integrating AI into business processes and managing cross‑functional teams.
• Stakeholder Communication – Serve as trusted advisor to client leadership, presenting strategic recommendations, addressing risks, and guiding AI best practices.
• Industry Trends & Insights – Stay informed of emerging AI trends, evaluate applicability to client industries, and identify new adoption opportunities.
• Due Diligence – Lead commercial and technical due diligence of AI target companies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field; advanced degree or MBA is advantageous.
• 8+ years of post‑university technology‑ and strategy‑related experience in professional services, blue‑chip, industry, or start‑up environments with a proven record of high performance.
• 2 years of managerial experience in top‑tier strategy consulting or senior managerial experience in IT consulting.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills with a passion for technology.
• Willingness to travel.
