Operating across multiple depots in the UK and Scotland, they manage a fleet of over 2,000 machines and equipment from top manufacturers such as JCB, Takeuchi, and Komatsu. The Role As a Workshop Fitter / Mechanic, you’ll play a crucial part in maintaining and servicing their wide range of equipment. Based at their Wellingborough depot, you’ll ensure the fleet is in top condition, ready for hire and safe to operate. Key Responsibilities * Repair and diagnose faults on plant and machinery in line with manufacturer guidelines. * Conduct servicing and routine maintenance to minimise downtime. * Perform PUWER & LOLER inspections for all equipment. * Ensure all work aligns with the ISO9001 quality management system. * Keep accurate records of repairs and inspections. About You * A recognised qualification in plant maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). * Experience working with equipment from manufacturers like JCB, Komatsu, or similar. * Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, and electrical systems. * Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook). * A full UK driving licence.
