We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Technicians for a leading commercial vehicle dealership in West Thurrock.
The Package
- £30.00 per hour
- £62,400 basic salary per year
- 40 hours per week
- 4-day working week – Tuesday to Friday
- 8:00pm – 6:30am
- 30-minute break
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Permanent position
- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service

The Role
As a Nightshift HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of commercial vehicles to a high standard. The successful candidates will be confident carrying out fault-finding and diagnostics and will ideally have experience working within a main dealer or similar professional workshop environment. You will also have access to ongoing training and development, including exposure to electric and next-generation commercial vehicle technology.
What We're Looking For
- HGV Technician Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Proven experience working on commercial vehicles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High standards of workmanship
- Main dealer experience preferred
