About the company:
Our client is a leading provider of fire and security solutions, committed to ensuring the safety and security of their clients. With a strong reputation for excellence, they are expanding their team and seeking an experienced Security Alarm Engineer to join them in the Bracknell/Slough area, with travel into Central London.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, service and repair security systems including access control, intruder alarms, CCTV, door entry and intercom systems across commercial and residential sites.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance to ensure systems remain fully operational and compliant with relevant standards.
- Service, maintenance, remedials and some installs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults across security systems, providing timely and effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Complete all required paperwork and job documentation accurately, including service reports, maintenance records and customer sign-off.
- Respond promptly to service requests and support reactive maintenance requirements where necessary.
- Work closely with colleagues, clients and other departments to ensure efficient project delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies and relevant security regulations and best practices.
The successful candidate will require:
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer.
- Relevant technical qualifications.
- Availability to travel between Reading and Central London.
- Strong knowledge of security systems and related technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving license.
