We are currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join a growing environmental business that is expanding due to continued success. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair of a range of heavy plant machinery, ensuring equipment is kept safe, reliable, and operational.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy plant equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Attend breakdowns and carry out repairs efficiently
- Maintain accurate service records and paperwork
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Previous experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy plant machinery
- Ability to fault find and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach
