Consult2Recruit are looking for an experienced Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy operation in Avonmouth, working with HGV mechanical parts. This is a blended warehouse and van role, with approximately 70% of your day spent in the warehouse and 30% carrying out van deliveries.

The Role

  • Warehouse duties (approximately 70%):
    • Loading and unloading HGV mechanical parts
    • Picking and packing orders
    • Preparing goods for delivery
    • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation
    • General warehouse duties as required
  • Van driving duties (approximately 30%):
    • Multi-drop deliveries to businesses
    • Deliveries to dealerships, garages and wholesalers
    • Ensuring parts are delivered safely and on time
    • Loading and unloading the van

Important Requirements

  • Must be aged 21 or over
  • Valid driving licence with no more than 3 points
  • Previous van driving experience required
  • Comfortable working in a role that combines warehouse work and driving
  • Must be able to lift up to 30KG in one go
  • Physically fit and prepared for an element of manual lifting
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Lifting equipment is provided where required, but there is still an element of manual lifting involved, so you must be comfortable with this.

Hours & Pay

  • Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:30
  • Saturday: 08:00 - 13:00 may be required, not yet confirmed
  • £12.71 per hour
