The Opportunity
We're recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and expanding commercial vehicle business in that is investing heavily in both its facilities and its people.
With continued growth across the business, they are looking to appoint an experienced HGV Technician to join their workshop team, working primarily on refuse collection vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a business that is committed to long-term investment, with a new workshop currently being built and clear plans for future expansion.

The Role
As an HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the fleet is maintained to the highest possible standards, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on refuse collection vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Routine servicing and scheduled maintenance.
- Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair.
- MOT preparation and vehicle inspections.
- Preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Completing workshop documentation accurately.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
About You
You'll ideally have experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
