Due to continued growth and operational requirements, they are now looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their Letchworth team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV driver looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role with no weekend work.
The Role
- Delivering and collecting vehicles and trailers safely and efficiently
- Carrying out vehicle and trailer collections from customers and operational sites
- Completing relevant vehicle checks before and after journeys
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed professionally and on time
- Completing delivery paperwork and other relevant documentation
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Complying with all relevant transport, road safety and company procedures
- Reporting any vehicle defects or issues promptly
About You
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience
- A good understanding of UK road networks and transport regulations
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- Good communication skills
- A reliable and responsible attitude
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Experience with commercial vehicles, refrigerated vehicles, trailers or vehicle collections would be advantageous.
