HGV Technician – Aberdeen £45,000 – £53,500 per annum + overtime | Early/Late Rota | 40 Hours + Saturday Morning Overtime We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial vehicle business for an experienced HGV Service Technician to join their established depot in Aberdeen on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced HGV Technician looking to join a professional workshop environment, working with a respected business and a wide range of heavy commercial vehicles. As an HGV Service Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, inspections, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable and compliant. Carrying out servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles Carrying out testing and identifying any additional work required Keeping your allocated workshop area clean, safe and organised Keeping up to date with the latest technical information and attending relevant training Working efficiently to meet workshop targets and deadlines Supporting colleagues and contributing positively within a small, experienced team Maintaining a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times Previous experience working with HGVs / heavy commercial vehicles Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills A good understanding of commercial vehicle systems A flexible and reliable approach to your work 45,000 – £53,500 salary , depending on experience ~40-hour working week ~ Early/Late shift rota ~ Saturday morning overtime available ~ Overtime opportunities ~ Bonus scheme ~ Excellent pension ~ Company vehicle scheme ~25 days' annual leave + bank holidays ~ Full manufacturer training and ongoing development ~ Permanent employment with an established commercial vehicle organisation This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician looking for long-term career development, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to work with a major commercial vehicle manufacturer.
