Job Description: Fire Systems Engineer Location: Huntingdon (Eastern HQ) - with occassional UK wide travel Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Company Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing Fire & Security specialist with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality installation, service and maintenance solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with an experienced Fire Systems Engineer. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire Systems Engineer to join a highly skilled team, carrying out installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding on a variety of fire alarm systems across customer sites throughout the UK. The successful candidate will work on a range of industry-leading fire systems while delivering a high standard of customer service and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities * Installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems. * Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of fire systems. * Commissioning where experience allows. * Identifying opportunities to provide additional services to existing customers. * Participating in a 1-in-6 on-call rota. * Delivering excellent customer service while working independently and as part of a team. Experience Required * Minimum of four years' experience within the Fire & Security industry. * Strong installation and service experience on fire alarm systems. * Experience working with systems such as Notifier, Gent, Advanced, C-Tec, Kentec, Ziton or similar. * Additional experience with CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, automatic doors, barriers or extinguishers would be advantageous. * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities. * Ability to manage workloads independently. * Full UK driving licence. Package * £45,000 - £55,000 basic salary (DOE). * Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. * Company vehicle, mobile phone and uniform. * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. * 1-in-6 call-out rota with £150 weekly standby payment plus overtime. * Quarterly bonus scheme following successful probation. * Health and dental cover following successful probation. * Company pension. * Long-term career progression with a growing business.
