Hours: 50 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 6:00–7:00 AM starts

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Mechanic to join their established operation in Bristol. This is a hybrid role, combining workshop-based duties with mobile work across local sites. The position offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and long-term stability.

The Role:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles and specialist machinery, including road sweepers
  • Carry out servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
  • Use diagnostic equipment to fault-find and assess performance
  • Complete service reports and job documentation accurately
  • Work in line with health and safety requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Mechanic is essential
  • Experience working on road sweepers is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Confident using diagnostic tools and fault-finding equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications advantageous but not essential
