Position: HGV Technician Location: Tamworth, B77 1LF Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (45 hours/week, 30 minutes unpaid lunch) Salary: OTE £50,000 per annum Role Overview: A leading commercial vehicle dealership is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their Tamworth workshop. This role involves servicing and repairing HGV vehicles to the highest industry standards. Key Responsibilities: * Perform servicing and repairs on HGVs, following manufacturer and industry standards. * Accurately diagnose defects and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational goals. * Proactively solve technical problems to maintain a smooth workflow in the workshop. * Communicate effectively, ensuring clear documentation of repair processes and progress. * Follow company procedures, meet or exceed targets, identify opportunities for improvement, and participate in ongoing training. Requirements: * Previous experience as an HGV Technician. * Full Driving Licence (HGV Licence beneficial but not essential). * Relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent). * Experience with DAF or similar vehicles is advantageous but not essential. * Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, proactive attitude. * Team player with clear communication skills.
