Job Description Nightshift HGV TechnicianWest Thurrock, Essex | £30.00 per hour | Permanent \n Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a well-paid, fixed nightshift with a 4-day working week? \n We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Technicians for a leading commercial vehicle dealership in West Thurrock . Due to continued growth and increased customer demand, we are looking for a skilled Technician to join the workshop team on a permanent basis. The Package\n \n £30.00 per hour \n £62,400 basic salary per year \n 40 hours per week \n 4-day working week - Tuesday to Friday \n 8:00pm - 6:30am \n 30-minute break \n Overtime paid at time and a half \n Permanent position \n 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service \n Pension with employer contribution of up to 5% matched \n Healthcare cashback scheme \n Free uniform and safety footwear \n Employee discounts across retailers, cinemas, theme parks and more \n Discounted vehicle leasing and contract hire \n The Role\n As a Nightshift HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of commercial vehicles to a high standard. \n The successful candidates will be confident carrying out fault-finding and diagnostics and will ideally have experience working within a main dealer or similar professional workshop environment . \n You will also have access to ongoing training and development, including exposure to electric and next-generation commercial vehicle technology . What We're Looking For\n \n HGV Technician Level 3 qualification or equivalent \n Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic \n Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills \n Proven experience working on commercial vehicles \n Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n High standards of workmanship \n Main dealer experience preferred \n \n Applications will also be considered from experienced HGV Technicians who have strong diagnostic skills and a broad range of HGV experience.
