Due to continued demand, they are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join their night-shift maintenance team.
The RoleAs an HGV Technician , you will play an important role in keeping the company's commercial vehicle fleet safe, reliable and operational.
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehiclesDiagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faultsConducting routine inspections and preventative maintenanceCarrying out MOT preparation and associated repairs where requiredUsing diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faultsEnsuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard and remain roadworthyCompleting maintenance records and relevant documentationWorking safely and in line with company procedures and industry regulationsSupporting the wider workshop and operations teamResponding to vehicle defects and breakdown-related maintenance when requiredShift Patterns & Pay4 Nights Per Week18:00 06:30Monday Friday Nights18:00 03:00About YouThe ideal candidate will be an experienced HGV Technician with a strong background in commercial vehicle maintenance.
Previous experience as an HGV / LGV TechnicianStrong mechanical and electrical knowledgeExperience diagnosing and repairing HGVs or commercial vehiclesGood understanding of vehicle safety and roadworthinessThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA professional and reliable approachRelevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent are desirableWhy Apply?
