We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Mechanic to join their established operation in Bristol. This is a hybrid role, combining workshop-based duties with mobile work across local sites. The position offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and long-term stability.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles and specialist machinery, including road sweepers
- Carry out servicing and preventative maintenance
- Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Use diagnostic equipment to fault-find and assess performance
- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately
- Work in line with health and safety requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanic is essential
- Experience working on road sweepers is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Confident using diagnostic tools and fault-finding equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant mechanical qualifications advantageous but not essential
- Up to £23 per hour, depending on experience
- Guaranteed 50-hour working week
- Monday to Friday only
