About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team in Birmingham. This is a mobile site-based role, where you will travel to customer locations and sites to carry out high-quality servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on a range of cars and vans across multiple vehicle brands.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently and have a strong background in vehicle repairs and fault diagnosis. You will be responsible for identifying issues, completing repairs, and ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
- Work on a wide range of cars and vans across various manufacturers and vehicle brands
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
- Carry out inspections, fault finding, and repairs to a high standard
- Complete work in line with manufacturer and company standards
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
- Manage your workload effectively while working independently in a mobile environment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, or similar role
- Experience working on both cars and vans is preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
- Experience working across multiple vehicle brands
- Ability to work independently in a mobile field-based role
- Good attention to detail and a safety-focused approach
- Relevant technical qualifications or proven industry experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence required
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
