We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer with over 30 years of success designing and producing GRP composite housings.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team where you'll receive full site training, enjoy regular weekday hours, and have the chance to secure a permanent position with a pay increase once fully trained.
What you'll be doing
- Assembling and laminating GRP composite products.
- Weatherproofing the products - Laminating.
- Trimming glass, Perspex and reinforced plastic components using hand tools.
- Applying labels and preparing finished products for dispatch.
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Occasionally working away from home when required.
What we're looking for
- Experience using hand tools through previous work or qualifications (NVQ, HNC or similar).
- Basic understanding of health and safety.
- Good spoken and written English.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work away from home when required.
