Tech Ops Director – Hands-on Player-Coach

When your engineers hit a technical wall, can you get in and help solve it?
I’m looking for a deeply technical leader to take ownership of live technology operations within a buy-side firm.
You’ll lead across infrastructure, cloud and critical business systems, working alongside the team to diagnose problems, drive recovery and improve reliability.
Expect to:
- Get hands-on with complex technical issues.
- Lead incident recovery and drive lasting fixes.
- Coach engineers through difficult problems.
- Strengthen resilience and hold suppliers accountable.
Your current technical depth matters more than your title.
This needs someone who still enjoys investigating, troubleshooting and working through the detail. If you’re looking to step away from technical delivery into strategy, transformation or management from a distance, this won’t be the right assignment.
