A global leader in personal protective equipment is seeking a Welding Respiratory Sales Specialist to drive growth across its welding and respiratory protection portfolio within the North East, Cumbria and Scotland territory. This role is heavily focused on new business development (70%) alongside managing and growing key priority accounts (30%). You will work closely with distribution partners and major industrial end users to drive specification and adoption of premium welding PPE solutions. The position requires a commercially driven individual who can operate confidently in industrial environments and make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and grow sales of the abrasive systems portfolio within the assigned territory.
  • Promoting a premium welding respiratory PPE portfolio to distributors and end users.
  • Driving new business development across industrial sectors.
  • Growing and retaining directly managed key accounts.
  • Delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to secure product specification and adoption.
  • Collaborating with application engineers and wider sales teams on projects.
  • Providing training on the correct use, care and maintenance of PPE products.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and managing a strong opportunity pipeline.
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities across wider safety solutions.

About You:

  • Proven B2B sales experience with strong new business capability.
  • Welding sales experience preferred, or strong industrial sales background.
  • Experience working with distributors and large industrial end users.
  • Confident delivering product demonstrations and technical discussions.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Disciplined pipeline management and CRM usage.
  • Highly organised with strong territory planning skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Scotland, North East England and Cumbria.
