Full-Time On-site

Company description

Reg Advantage Ltd is a UK compliance consultancy and technology provider for FCA-regulated investment managers, principal firms and host AIFMs. We help firms build compliance, legal and risk frameworks to institutional standard without excess overhead, from authorisation through to growth and investor due diligence.

Alongside our advisory work, we have built a compliance oversight platform using Claude. It covers all elements of compliance oversight for investment firms, evidence collection, email intake with AI classification, and a tamper-evident audit trail. Several clients now want it deployed into their own environments, and we are building the delivery capability to do that.

Role description

This is a part-time, hybrid role based in London, with flexibility to work remotely. Fractional, contract and partnership arrangements will all be considered.

The codebase, deployment templates and the AI agents that build and deploy the platform already exist. Your job is to take ownership of getting the platform into production for each client, safely and repeatably, and to be the senior technical voice in front of their CTOs and IT teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead each client deployment from technical discovery to go-live in the client’s own Microsoft 365 and Azure or AWS environment.
  • Oversee, direct and quality-assure AI-assisted development and deployment (Claude Code and agent workflows), including code review, testing and release sign-off.
  • Lead technical conversations with client CTOs, IT and information security teams: architecture, data residency, identity and access, security questionnaires, penetration testing and DPIAs.
  • Own the platform’s architecture and roadmap: integrations, scalability, reliability and security.
  • Set up and maintain infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, environment management and operational runbooks.
  • Manage timelines, scope and any external technical partners across multiple concurrent client deployments.

Qualifications

  • Senior engineering leadership experience as a CTO, fractional CTO, technical lead or solutions architect, ideally in financial services or another regulated sector.
  • Hands-on with Azure and/or AWS (App Service or ECS, Blob or S3, Key Vault or Secrets Manager).
  • Strong Microsoft 365 integration experience: Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint and Exchange.
  • Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep or CloudFormation) and CI/CD with secure deployment practices (GitHub Actions, OIDC, least privilege).
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js and PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of security and data protection requirements in regulated firms: audit trails, access control, UK GDPR, DPIAs, vendor due diligence and penetration testing.
  • Experience with, or a strong interest in, directing and reviewing AI-assisted software development.
  • Confident and credible with client CTOs and senior stakeholders, and able to work independently with sound judgement.
  • Startup or scale-up experience is an advantage, as is familiarity with FCA-regulated asset management.
