Position Overview
Our client, a global leader and manufacturer of surgical and dental loupes, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee UK operations, provide technical support, and lead administrative functions. This role will report to the UK Country Manager and play a key role in supporting the sales team and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage office operations, procedures, and workflows
- Oversee inventory, logistics, and supply chain functions
- Collaborate with global headquarters on operational matters
- Create and maintain operational budgets, sales reports, and performance metrics
- Provide technical assistance to internal teams and customers
- Coordinate with manufacturers on product inquiries
- Handle product returns, technical issues, and customer service escalations
- Maintain a technical product knowledge database
- Manage CRM and ERP systems
- Support sales teams across UK territories
- Work closely with Accountants and Bookkeepers
- Oversee office facilities and equipment
Requirements
- 5+ years of operations management experience in a small to medium-sized company
- Proficiency with ERP systems and sales management software
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Based in Leeds/Wakefield, UK
