We’re partnering with a globally recognised healthcare business to hire an E-Retail Category & Trade Marketing Manager into a high-performing UK team. This role sits at the intersection of e-commerce, trade marketing and category activation, focused on how products actually win online across Amazon and retailer.com channels. You’ll own activation planning, promotional strategy and online shopper visibility across key retail partners, working closely with brand, sales and category teams to drive conversion and commercial growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from consumer electronics, FMCG, retail or another commercially-led e-commerce environment who wants to move into a fast-growing, resilient category with strong long-term progression potential.
Key responsibilities:
- Own e-retail activation calendars across pure-play and retailer.com customers
- Develop promotional and trade marketing plans aligned to brand priorities
- Manage online visibility, discoverability and shopper journey optimisation
- Work with agencies across content, retail media and activation execution
- Manage trade marketing budgets and evaluate campaign ROI
- Collaborate cross-functionally with category, sales and brand teams
- Use market and customer insights to shape activation strategy
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in e-retail, shopper marketing, trade marketing or customer marketing
- Strong understanding of Amazon and/or online retail environments
- Experience working across retailer activations, digital shelf or online campaigns
- Commercial mindset with exposure to budgets, ROI and performance analysis
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Why this role stands out:
- High-growth, recession-resistant category
- Less saturated and more commercially agile than traditional FMCG
- Strong balance of strategic ownership and hands-on execution
- Collaborative culture with long-term development opportunities
- Opportunity to apply e-commerce expertise in a more purpose-led industry
