About the Role
DEVENGINE CONSULTING LIMITED is seeking an experienced procurement, vendor management or supplier onboarding consultant who has previously worked with major IT services companies, banking technology providers or government IT suppliers.
The objective is to help us register as an approved IT services supplier and establish commercial relationships that enable us to provide software engineers and technology contractors to banks, large enterprises and government organisations.
Target Organisations
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience at or with organisations such as:
- IT Services & Consulting: Virtusa, Infosys, Mphasis, HCLTech, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, DXC Technology and others.
- Banking & Financial Services: Citi, Barclays, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, NatWest and other financial institutions.
- Government & Public Sector: Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK government departments, local councils, NHS technology suppliers and public-sector IT service providers.
Experience with managed service providers (MSPs), IT staffing companies and recruitment supply-chain providers is also highly relevant.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate supplier registration and onboarding with major IT services companies and government IT suppliers.
- Identify relevant procurement, vendor management and supplier onboarding contacts.
- Navigate supplier portals, compliance checks and vendor qualification processes.
- Support company registration and documentation submissions.
- Identify opportunities to supply Java engineers and other technology contractors to banking, enterprise and government clients.
- Explore subcontracting opportunities through established IT service providers and public-sector suppliers.
Required Experience
- Previous experience in IT procurement, supplier onboarding, vendor management or contractor supply chains.
- Experience working with one or more of the organisations or sectors listed above.
- Knowledge of supplier registration processes and procurement portals.
- Demonstrable experience supporting supplier onboarding or establishing commercial supplier relationships.
Engagement & Compensation
Freelance or contract engagement. Compensation is negotiable based on experience, scope and agreed deliverables.
